Improved Diagnostic procedures – 2005 and 2006 Saab 9-2X Airbag/SRS System
2005 Saab 9-2X
CONDITION/CONCERN:
The 2005 9-2x uses a special ”Check Connector” located near the OBDII port.
Using this special ”Check Connector” and 2 grounding wires the codes can be flashed
out by watching the Airbag lamp flash. This vehicle does not use a scan tool for Airbag
diagnostics.
RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS:
Use the diagnostic “Check Connector” under the dash near the OBDII port to blink out codes in conjunction with the Airbag lamp
